movie review (Fantastic Mr Fox)

Fantastic Mr Fox Movie review

Mr Fox, Mrs Fox, their son Ash and their young nephew Kristofferson live a normal family life. Mr Fox begins to miss the thrill of  being a chicken thief and soon goes back to his thieving ways and in doing so brings danger to his own family and his community. Mr Fox, his family and their entire community get trapped underground with no way out, because the farmers that Mr Fox stole from are now hunting them with the intention to kill the thieving Fox.

In the beginning of the movie we learn that Mrs Fox used to be somewhat of an assistant to her husband, in the movie the fox family live as a family with their nephew but in the book they have four small foxes and they don’t have names.

The movie has a lot of violent actions from gun wielding to explosions and it also depicts a father that seem to be neglecting his son/ favours his nephew over his son because his nephew (Kristofferson) is more physically agile than his son (Ash) and in a way reminds him of himself.

What I loved about the movie is the compassion that the animals show towards each other as they stood together against the farmers, and when Mr Fox and Ash went to free Kristofferson after he was captured by the farmers and they threatened to kill him if Mr Fox did not hand himself over to them, this movie teaches us to support and stand by one another as the animal community stood by Mr Fox.

my Final School year at Phumzile Secondary school

My final school year at PHUMZILE SECONDARY SCHOOL, MPUMALANGA.
VLAKLAAGTE EEN/no: 1 is a small village situated just ahead of KwaggaFontein, the community is run by the THEMBISILE HANI MUNICIPALITY, it is a relatively small area but is still under constant expansion, with its latest extension being named MABHOKO VILLAGE. My matric subjects were: Tourism, Geography, Agriculture, Maths Literacy, English F.A.L, isiNdebele, Life Orientation.
I matriculated last year (2015) at PHUMZILE SECONDARY SCHOOL which is fairly close to Siyathemba Street, Phumzile F.E.T School is under the Nkangala District, TweeFontein North Circuit. This school is the top achieving school when it comes to the overall pass percentage of its matriculants ever since Principal D.B Kabini took over.
The school currently has no educational technology being used in any of the classes/subjects in its curriculum, but it was just converted into a science school and as from the beginning of this year it will now enrol only science and Mathematics learners only.

SCHOOL on the year 2015 which was the most proud moment of my life, to matriculate at what is known throughout the Nkangala District to be the number one and top ranking school in Matric result overall percentages for the whole circuit (TweeFontein North Circuit).
This school did not and does not use any educational technology in all of the subjects it offers in its curriculum, as its computers were stolen before they were even used by any student, it is currently being converted into a science school and this process began in 2016 and is set to enrol science learners only.

MY PERSONAL TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Teachers are the milestone of education they produce our future doctors and engineers, the purpose of teachers is to educate and to ensure the smooth running of the classroom, the main purpose of a teacher is to guide his/her learners to academic success and must have the ability to through expertise and experience. My goal/purpose as a teacher is to teach and better the literacy rate of our country and to ensure that I as a teacher have an everlasting impression on the learners that will be or that will have the opportunity of being my learners or that will be in my class, My purpose as a teacher is to constructively build the learners in a positive  way and aid them in having a positive attitude towards their schoolwork or their studies. Because I want them to be able to reach the academic heights I never could and be able to have a solidly sound academic life, that is what I want my students to be able to achieve more academically.
In class the teacher is the director of the classroom and ensures effective management and learning of the learners during class, the process of learning is basically the teacher providing the hungry minds of children with information so they can grow academically, the process of teaching and learning entails the interaction between the children and the teacher , the teaching and learning process is there to maintain balance in the classroom.
In a classroom a teacher has many roles in a classroom that ensures the cooperation between the teacher and his students or learners, my role as a teacher would be to teach and to give knowledge to my students and know that I have made difference in their lives and improved their academic knowledge in hopes of giving them a better academic life and hopefully give a better chance with their future education or studies. Teachers basically play the role of being the chaperons of learners and to build them in a way the they enjoy their education through out their lives from foundation, senior to F.E.T to tertiary education.
Teachers are meant to aid the learners with their education and guide them to academic success, but learners also have an important role that they play in their education, learners must work harder than the teacher so that they work for their own future and don’t have to rely on being spoon fed by their teachers learn to be independent when it comes to their education or their academic work and must engage actively during the learning. They are also assessed  means of daily activities including dilouge and interaction with their peers and their teachers, practical investigation, performances, oral presentations and discussion are assessed on written work, art work and projects this is done in-order to determine the level of knowledge that the learners already have or have been taught by their teachers.the following are the roles of a learner:
  • Must be a task monitor.
  • Take given information or instruction
  • Responsible for gathering information needed for an assignments.
  • are required to take part in learning and other classrooms activities or assignments.

In the education system  education must be in favor of the child so that learning can take place under favorable best conditions, as a teacher I must ensure that there is nothing that stops or hinders the learning process of  learners is not disturbed by anything or by anyone. As a future foundation phase teacher I know that it is hard work trying to keep a young child's mind concentrated on what is being done in class especially if you don’t engage with your learners because action and humor in the classroom is very important because it helps children s minds to remember what they have learnt. I as a teacher must ensure that I give informative content to the learners to ensure their success academically and that they can use in the future.
I personally  value my ethics and what they stand or what I stand for as a human being or will stand for as a teacher but most of all I value my integrity which what makes me who I am and this will contribute towards me being a better teacher and will allow perfect interaction between me and my students or learners.
I as a future foundation phase teacher have found that in a classroom children tend to focus more when you add a little humor and a fun way to interact with what you or your prepared lesson and feel that they are part of the class through interaction with the rest of the class. It is said that children capture more information during or when they are playing time is when they their minds are most  active and can capture more information and gain knowledge
